Theres nothing bad about getting an epidural. I myself didnt get one. I had a pretty easy labor. Every labor is different and every1 has a different pain tollerance. As long as u have a healthy baby it shouldnt matter the type of birthing u choose

exactly! I just feel like people talk about it so often and it’s usually with a sense of pride of “oh well *I* didn’t get one, YOU did? But why?” and then more than half the people who get one their first time say they felt like they missed out on something and I just don’t get what there is to “miss out on” I guess?

I feel like the only mom who didn’t regret getting an epidural

and the only mom who got an epidural twice and didn’t feel like I was missing out on something with either birth. Even now I would get another epidural if I got pregnant again. It wouldn’t even be a question, I don’t see what’s so bad about them.

call me old fashioned but 4 year olds should not own iPhones

call me old fashioned but 12 year olds should not own iPhones

Call me old fashioned, but you should not have a cell phone if you cannot pay for it yourself.

Call me old fashioned but what’s a cell phone?

Life Update!

Michael totally talks now. Like seriously can say things like “I want a cup of water” or “can I bring my shoes?” and UNDERSTAND what he’s saying. He also can listen to basic directions (can you please put the pillows on the bed/do you want to go get a blanket please/please hand my phone to me) and can give basic directions. He keeps Cailen out of things he shouldn’t be in and takes dangerous things away from him and throws them over the baby gate!

Cailen is a sweetie pie. He can kind of talk, he says things like “orange” or “cuppawadde” (cup of water), basic words like that (usually parroting whatever Michael is saying). So far both of the boys love the neighbor girls, and literally try to break into their backyard every time they walk outside.

We have the walls painted, and next weekend that the boys are at their dad’s house we’re going to be putting in the new flooring (hellooooo stainmaster carpet) and over the next few warm months we’ll be slowly replacing all of the windows in the house. We’ve already got one down, and honestly the weather right now is perfect so not having super awesome insulated double paned window’s isn’t the biggest deal in the world.

OK!

We have moved! We are for the most part settled. I’m so happy I didn’t lose any followers while I was gone (but I know you guys actually care about me ^-^)

Everyone’s happier here.

The difference between Michael and Cailen

When I kiss Cailen he says “Thank you!”
When I kiss Michael he says “Welcome!”

I am honestly not trying to start anything

but there’s a mom on my facebook feed who is so AGAINST vaccination and her kids are CONSTANTLY sick. She posts on at least an every few week basis that she’s either going to the ER with her sick baby or can’t afford to take time off work while her baby is sick (she has two, so I can understand that it’s not the same baby every time) and rather than just using antibiotics she wants to use at home remedies. I understand that to an extent, but when those are proving time and time again to NOT work for her children, shouldn’t she be more concerned when her 4 year old is sick on an every month basis? Or her 2 year old? Until recently I don’t even think they were going to playgroup or daycare, she had a babysitter come to her house and watch them there. I just don’t understand.
